January 6, 2017
Dear Students,
Welcome back to
2017! What an exciting week we have
already had…including a SNOW DAY! Hope
you enjoyed the first four days getting back into our routine. It’s always hard to get going the first morning,
but then it seems to become a habit again!
What is your favorite part of our
daily routine?
We talked about
resolutions this week. It is not
necessarily hard to make a resolution, but it is usually difficult to keep a
resolution unless you begin with the end in mind. What
is your new year’s resolution and what is your plan to keep it?
The second semester is so exciting for
fourth graders. You will have many
special activities including a trip to UK and the Kentucky Horse Park, field
day, electricity day, Derby day, Pineapple Ball, the all new Bike Rally, and 4th
grade graduation. Of course we also have
end of the year KPREP, MAP, fluency, and DRA testing. It is really important to begin with the end
in mind this semester so you can participate in all the fun events! What
are you most looking forward to in your final semester at NP?
Thanks for a great return to
school! Hopefully we will have a full
five days next week J
Sincerely,
Mrs. Harrison
